This photograph shows a group of WAACs with two officers celebrating the 1 year anniversary of the WAAC formation, which was originally formed on May 14th, 1942. Notice the Air Force patch on one of the WAAC's shoulders.
This typewriter, manufactured by L.C. Smith and Corona, is a standard 3C series made for the U.S. Army to be used in the field desks. Some were marked "U.S. Army" on the front, although this particular one was not.
During the 50th anniversary of WWII, multiple commemorative medals were issued to those who served, including this one specifically made for the women.
Mess Kits were issued to women, same as men. This one is an original with a reproduction spoon and fork. It is unknown if it was actually used by a man or woman in WWII
