This booklet was compiled just after the end of WWII, covering the history of the design and issuance of the military wear for both the WACs and any other services under the Quartermaster General.
This was a package of envelopes sold to support the many women's branches during WWII. Sadly, the WASPs were not included, as they were an auxiliary and not included officially as a part of the military branches.
This photo is of an unknown Air WAC from WWII. The Air WACs were WACS assigned to the Air Force, which was until towards the end of the war, still under the U.S. Army
